OK, a 14 hour drive.
Sweet, going from 20 minutes away to 10 minutes away.
It’s so close, must be going to the post office in Florence, I’ll get it tomorrow.

If I may offer a suggestion, post your end destination as the start and the start at the end because the flow of that was a pain in the ba-toot to follow.
I feel your pain though, I had something shipped from an hour and a half north of me and someone screwed up at the post office. It was supposed to be a 1 day delivery, but it took 17.... 17 fucking days to go less than 60 miles.

If I ship something from Kalispell to Missoula it goes through Billings. Billings adds 900 miles to the trip. Kalispell to Missoula is 120 miles.

Amazon routinely ships things I order through Ohio to Michigan before sending them back to Ohio to be delivered to me.

It going to Indy makes sense, that’s where FedEx has their headquarters and their main distribution hub. 98% of all FedEx Express packages go to Indy. It going to those locations in Kentucky
first
doesn’t make sense.
